Ginbi
A Lagos Urban Project portal

What will we build in this place

Show us the badly designed places in Lagos: the bus stops, junctions, drains, footbridges, markets and estates that fail the people who use them. Ginbi collects them so we can imagine, and push for, something better.

Gini (Igbo: “what”) + Ibi (Yoruba: “place”) = Ginbi

Lagos deserves better design

Lagos builds every day, and much of it fails the people who use it: bus stops with no shade, footbridges nobody climbs, estates with no way to walk out, markets that flood. Ginbi starts with the places you know.

Send a photo and a few lines about what’s wrong. Our team reviews every submission before it goes up, and the places Lagosians flag most become the briefs for redesign concepts and workshops.
